Davenport University is committed to the safety and well-being of the University.  If an emergency occurs that may delay operations or close the university, all students, faculty and staff will be notified via DU Alert.  The emergency notification system will provide information to you via phone, email, or text/SMS messaging.  This includes any alternate email address, home phone number, or cell phone number you have provided. 

In the event of a campus emergency that could affect the health and safety of students and employees, the University will immediately activate DU Alert mass notification system.  In order for you to be warned of any pending danger, please make sure your cell phone and/or text messaging contact information is updated in Self-Service Banner.  To update your information, click here. 

This program is free to you.  However, your cell phone carrier may charge you for a text message if you do not have a plan that covers it.  The University will not use this contact information except in an emergency that has the potential to affect your health and safety.
