Davenport University embarked on its quality journey in the early- and mid-2000s when it increased its academic standards. This direction was reinforced in 2009 with the arrival of President Richard Pappas and the development of Vision 2015, the University's five-year strategic plan. The University is implementing this strategic plan by integrating continuous quality improvement into its culture, language and mindset.
An emphasis has been placed on:
aligning existing systems around critical functions
using data on those critical functions to drive ongoing assessment and benchmarking
addressing opportunities for improvement
Our overall process improvement strategy includes chartering process improvement teams, supporting their achievements and celebrating their success.
