Every year, Davenport University begins the academic year by bringing academic faculty and staff together for our annual Wynalda Teaching and Learning Institute (TLI), an internal conference dedicated to supporting faculty in their teaching, scholarship, and professional administrative work.
The 2025 Wynalda Teaching and Learning Institute (TLI) will be held on Wed, August 13 at the W.A. Lettinga Campus in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
The event features an opening plenary session where faculty from all Davenport University colleges will come together to explore a common topic and hear from university leadership. After lunch, colleges will host individualized programs. These college-specific events are intended to allow for greater focus on your unique college needs. Each Dean is working with their faculty and leadership to structure a meaningful event.

Adjunct faculty are warmly welcomed to participate in the full day of activities; however, due to budget constraints we are unable to fund travel expenses or overnight accommodations for adjunct faculty.
