Public Safety Service
Public Safety Officers are trained to provide the following services free of charge to our students and staff:
- Jump starts
- Vehicle unlocks
Not all services will be successful, but we will try to get you going back on the road.
What would cause the service to fail?
- An old or dirty battery
- Certain makes or models of vehicles
You are required to provide the following in order to receive service
- Driver's license
- Proof of insurance or registration
- Physical signature on our vehicle services waiver
Public Safety is not able to assist with any other issue beyond what they are trained for. If your vehicle needs further attention, below is the contact information for a local company that can assist you. NOTE: Services provided by an external agency are not covered by Davenport University and the vehicle owner is responsible for all fees associated with service. Davenport University will not provide or reimburse funds for privately owned vehicles.
