Honors Professional Accountancy

Davenport University offers an Honors Professional Accountancy program which is an exclusive opportunity for students interested in accounting.  Students in this program have the opportunity to earn both the BBA in Honors Professional Accountancy, a Master of Accountancy (MAcc) degree and a Graduate Certificate -- all within a five-year period.

Pre-Admission Requirements

  • Letter of application – reviewed after completion of 30 credit hours with a 3.25 GPA overall and in major courses.

  • Completion of ACCT202 with a B+ or higher or the transfer of ACCT202 with a B+ or higher

  • Two letters of reference

  • Committee interview

Additional Information

This program features selective admission with enrollment caps.

Open Houses are held during Fall and Winter semesters. Prospective candidates will be interviewed during each semester for admission in the following semester.
