RECYCLING AND SUSTAINABILITY POLICY
Recycling is an important part of Davenport’s sustainability initiative and LEED Certification. To help reduce the amount of waste sent to landfills, Davenport University separates trash from recycled materials. To accomplish this, multiple waste collectors are placed throughout the buildings. Office paper, plastic, glass, and aluminum items should be discarded in blue containers with the green recycling symbol on them. Trash which includes food and spoiled materials should go into containers labeled “Trash”.
