SURPLUS PROPERTY DISPOSAL POLICY
This policy covers all Davenport University assets with the exception of computers, software, and all IT-related equipment.
- The Campus Director initiates the process to dispose of surplus assets. The Campus Director will forward to the Vice President of Facilities a written email request to declare unused and/or non-functioning assets as surplus.
- The Vice President of Facilities will determine if the asset(s) may be used by other University departments or campuses. If not, the asset(s) are declared as surplus.
- The Vice President of Facilities will coordinate with the Campus Planner and the Executive Director of Facility Operations to sell or to dispose of the asset(s) in a timely manner.
