If you do not agree with the parking fine you received, you may submit an appeal for the Appeals Committee to review. To submit an appeal, email duparking@davenport.edu. You will want to include the following information:
- Ticket Number (CIT2022-XXX)
- First and Last Name
- Email Address
- A written summary of why you do not agree with the parking ticket
For an overnight parking request, email duparking@davenport.edu 48 hours in advance of your planned departure. You will receive a timely response with your parking lot assignment for the duration of your trip.
For Student Groups and Sports Team Travel: Advisors or Coaches need to email duparking@davenport.edu 48 hours in advance of your planned departure. You will receive a timely response with your parking lot assignment for your commuting students and staff. Resident students will be required to leave their vehicles in a designated residential parking lot.
No. Davenport University is unable to accommodate more than one vehicle per student. Each student and staff member may only bring one vehicle to campus at any given time. Resident students are only allowed one vehicle on campus at any given time. Motorcycles are included in this policy.
All parking permits can be picked up at the Welcome Desks at each campus. Hours for the Welcome Desk are as follows:
Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Main Campus Residents: Overnight residential lots are as follows: F, J, K, L. Overnight parking in parking lot A between the College of Business and DeVos building is strictly prohibited and will result in fines.
Apartment Residents: Each apartment complex has its own designated parking lot. Panther Woods has limited spaces. Once the spaces are filled in the main Panther Woods lot, apartment residents are required to park in the overflow parking lot located directly adjacent to the apartment complex. Lawn parking and parking along areas that are not intended for parking is strictly prohibited and will result in fines.
Athletic parking lots are reserved for athletes and athletic staff only during business hours. Lots close promptly at dusk.
No. Davenport University is reserved private property for individuals with business at the university such as students and staff. Parents wishing to tailgate at athletic events may not utilize campus parking lots overnight. RVs are only allowed on the property during the allowed tailgate time and game time. RVs must be packed up and out of the athletic facility at the end of the game.
