CLERY ACT

The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, or Clery Act, is a federal statute that requires all colleges and universities that participate in federal financial aid programs to keep and disclose information about crime on and near their respective campuses. 

Annual Security and Fire Safety Report 

Davenport University places a high priority on keeping its campuses safe for students, employees, and visitors.  As a way of helping ensure safety, Davenport has prepared the following report to increase your awareness of the current programs that exist for your protection.  The information details the specific policies and procedures Davenport University employs to deter and respond to crimes and fire safety issues as well as educational programs that teach students and staff safe living habits.  This information will be organized according to the requirements of the Clery Act.

STOP CAMPUS HAZING ACT

The Stop Campus Hazing Act is a federal statute that requires colleges and universities participating in federal financial aid programs to publicly report hazing incidents, establish anti-hazing policies, and implement prevention and education efforts to address hazing on campus.

Annual Hazing Transparency Report 

Davenport University places a high priority on fostering a safe and respectful campus environment for students, employees, and visitors. As part of this commitment, Davenport has prepared the Annual Hazing Transparency Report to increase awareness of the University’s efforts to prevent, identify, and respond to hazing within student organizations. This report outlines Davenport University’s policies, procedures, and educational programs related to hazing prevention and response and is organized in accordance with the requirements of the Stop Campus Hazing Act.

Mandatory Reporting

DU community members are considered Mandatory Reporters by the university and are required to report criminal incidents in compliance with the Clery Act.  All Mandatory Reporters can report suspected misconduct to the university through this link.
