2.0 Academic Classes and University Business
Davenport University Lansing campus makes an effort to provide convenient parking for our students and employees, but all resources are on a first-come, first-served basis. To conserve our parking resources, we require that anyone using those resources be doing so only while they are actually on campus. Utilizing Davenport University parking for working elsewhere or for other off-campus activities is strictly prohibited. Exceptions to this policy must be approved by the Director of Public Safety or their designee.
3.0 Student Parking
Registered students have two available parking options provided at the Lansing campus. Lot 1 is approved for students and is located on the East and South sides of the classroom building. Parking in the private lot South of Lot 1 is strictly prohibited. This private parking lot is marked by a metal arch over the entrance. Lot 1 also provides four (4) visitor parking spaces for those with admissions appointments. Misuse of the visitor parking spaces is strictly enforced due to limited availability. The South Grand Parking Ramp, located across the street from the classroom building, is approved for registered students. A ramp access card is required to avoid paying the daily fee at the ramp. Ramp cards can be obtained from the Lansing Campus Public Safety Office in Room 112 along with your student parking permit. Student accounts will be charged a $40.00 refundable deposit for the access card. The deposit will be credited back to the student's account when the student returns the ramp card to Public Safety. The ramp cards must be returned when once the student is no longer enrolled in classes. Note that some very large or tall vehicles may not be able to enter the South Grand Parking Ramp.
