Leadership Academy is a 9-month program designed for current managers and high-potential employees.
Participants will develop clarity around DU’s mission, vision and values and learn how to apply the 4 Essential Roles of Leadership: Inspire Trust, Create Vision, Execute Strategy, and Coach Potential. To create an inclusive work environment where engagement and empowerment drive results and support employee satisfaction, participants will build competency in Crucial Conversations, leading across generations, and managing unconscious bias. Team project work will allow participants to enhance their problem solving skills using the DMAIC data-driven improvement cycle.
LEAD (Lead, Engage and Develop) is a 12-month program designed for employees to build leadership skills within their team and for aspiring leaders.
Participants will develop leadership competencies (skills and behaviors) that contribute to superior performance. The curriculum will include in-seat and online content. Opportunities and mentoring will be included.
LEAD Self-Study is ideal for employees who want to develop and enhance specific competencies at their own pace and as needed.
Online resources are available in Develop U 24-7 and include eLearning modules, videos, and e-books.
