COVID-19 CARES Act Emergency Funds

On March 27, Congress passed the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act which provides federal grant funds to federal aid-eligible students who have encountered additional expenses as a result of campus disruptions due to COVID-19.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Must meet Federal Student Aid eligibility requirements. These requirements can be viewed on StudentAid.gov.

  2. Must have been enrolled in at least one on-campus course at the time of disruption, March 13.

Students who were enrolled completely online in the winter semester will unfortunately not be eligible for these grant funds. Congress and the U.S. Department of Education has mandated these grant funds be awarded due to the disruption of campus operations due to Coronavirus.

We anticipate a high volume of requests. Your request will be reviewed as quickly as possible.  As soon as your request is reviewed, you will receive a notification from Davenport. Students are limited to one request.

Davenport University will be processing CARES Act Emergency Grant refunds through our partner BankMobile Disbursements. Make sure you have up-to-date demographic information and a refund preference selected on your account at pantheronecard.com.
