The Student Philanthropy Call Center (Phonathon)
The Student Philanthropy Call Center (SPCC) is a team of student development officers working to help us stay connected and engaged with alumni and friends of Davenport University. These Davenport students are reaching out to help raise funds for areas throughout campus that mean the most to our supporters.
Students are empowered to fundraise for gifts each year for scholarships, research, programs, athletics, and our schools and colleges. The team reaches out to our network of alumni, friends, and donors not only to ask for gifts but also to help them stay connected with Davenport University, thank them for previous gifts, remind them of important days on campus, and invite them to upcoming events.
While working with the SPCC, our student development officers receive an education in philanthropy, gaining valuable work experience that will help prepare them for the world after graduation. These students learn skills in leadership, marketing, sales, management, strategic planning, project management, and communication. They also have a valuable opportunity to connect with alumni, faculty, staff, parents, and friends through phone calls, emails, and text messaging to share the latest happenings on campus, helping them to stay engaged with the university.
Thank you for connecting with the student team at the SPCC. We are confident the group has great things lined up for the future. We appreciate you sharing your time and Davenport experience with them and appreciate your generous support of all the students of Davenport University.
