Upsilon Pi Epsilon’s (UPE) mission is to recognize graduate and undergraduate students that have demonstrated high academic achievement and to support programs that will enable students to grow academically and professionally.

The Association accomplishes this by scholarship support, constituent partnerships and chapter activities that promote computing advancements.

Upsilon Pi Epsilon (UPE) is an international honor society in the Computing and Information Disciplines.  UPE was organized at Texas A&M University in 1967 as the first honor society for the computer sciences. They are endorsed by the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and the IEEE Computer Society.  UPE is also a recognized member of the Association of College Honor Societies (ACHS).
