Effective July 1, 2022, the new CLEP exam fee will be $90. The current $89 fee will still apply to all exams purchased through June 30, 2022.

The College Board owns and administers the CLEP test for college credit in five subject areas (Business, Science & Mathematics, History and Social Sciences, World Languages and Composition & Literature), covering material taught in courses that are generally taken in the first two years of college. These exams are available to anyone who is seeking college credit outside of the traditional classroom. This includes college students, adult learners, high school students and military personnel. CLEP is an effective method to provide your college with evidence of prior learning for college credit.
