Dr. Anne Cramer teaches graduate and undergraduate economics classes at DU. Her primary area of specialty is in health economics. Anne did her post-doctoral work in health economics at Wayne State University’s Institute of Gerontology where she was funded through the National Institutes of Health to investigate long-term care financing and long-term care insurance.
Dr. Cramer has taught traditional, online, blended, and virtual classes. Anne believes an important part of education today is to learn to identify and interpret credible information including information found on the Internet. Her courses incorporate ways that virtual communication has changed economics such as the impact of Internet auctions and dissemination of market information through social networks.
Dr. Cramer served as a member of the blended learning development team and is a faculty fellow in which capacity she assists in bringing professional development opportunities to Davenport faculty in southeast Michigan.
