Angie is proud to be a member of the nursing faculty at the Lansing campus of Davenport University. A registered nurse of twenty-six years and a nurse practitioner of twenty-one years, nearly all of her practice has been in the Lansing area. Her registered nurse experience is primarily in the cardiovascular field. As a nurse practitioner, she has mostly provided care for women, children, and adolescents in the primary care setting.

Assisting in the education and development of our future nurses has proven to provide her with welcomed challenges, professional growth, and much satisfaction. Incorporating creativity and use of multiple modalities for learning in the classroom are goals Angie has set for herself; she has accepted the challenges of lifelong learning and continued development as an educator to help meet these goals.

Angie graduated from Grand Valley State University with a BSN and from Michigan State University with a MSN. She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
