The Donald W. Maine College of Business has an active advisory board, which regularly contributes to program review and development.

Rick Baker
President/CEO - Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce
Rick Baker and the Chamber are actively engaged in developing strong leaders, a diverse workforce and a business environment that fosters economic prosperity. At the national level, Rick serves as a Board Member for the American Chamber of Commerce Executives and the prestigious Committee of 100 for the U.S. Chamber.
Dan Carter: Board Chair
Dan Carter Advisors, CPA
Dan Carter has over 35 years experience providing tax, accounting and consulting services. He specializes in closely held businesses, business startups, capital formation, real estate and construction. His professional affiliations include membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants.
Judd Freeman
Judd Freeman has 40 years of experience working with the franchise industry, first as an administrator of the Michigan Franchise Investment Law (MFIL) enacted in 1974, and subsequently in private industry both as in-house counsel to franchise companies and as an attorney in private practice providing clients with advice relative to federal and state law requirements on a nationwide basis. 
Alex Lorenz
Manufacturing Director - ADAC Automotive
Alex Lorenz leads painting operations for the organization's West Michigan locations. His mission as a manufacturing director is to build a team that strives to exceed customer expectations and simultaneously provides value to ADAC Automotive’s stakeholders. His roles at ADAC Automotive have also included product design, program management and project manager.
Tom McGovern
President - Rockford Construction
With more than 25 years of experience in commercial construction and retail distribution, Tom has managed more than eight million sq. ft. of construction, including $700 million of new or renovated construction projects. In 2010, Tom was named President due to his vision for the future of the company and strong leadership skills.
Matt Szukalowski 
Small Business Marketing Manager - UPS
Matt Szukalowski's career spans 25 years with UPS. During that time his services include overseeing the UPS prototype automated facility, running the UPS Michigan District's Technology Department and coordinating the transportation engineering section. He currently serves as the strategic marketing manager, overseeing and growing the small business segment for Michigan and Ohio.
Phillip Weaver
President - Hope Network
Phillip Weaver was named President and CEO of Hope Network in 2006. Hope Network is a $125 million non-profit based in Grand Rapids that serves more than 78 counties in Michigan. They are recognized as the premier provider of Specialty Health and Community Services to individuals with disabilities and disadvantages. Hope Network also runs the largest non-profit transportation system in Michigan.
Helen Zeerip
President - Teddy's Transport
Teddy's Transport is a trucking company that specializes in nationwide expediting, local pickup and deliver, full truckload and dedicated fleet services. The Grand Rapids Business Journal recognized her as one of the Top Woman Owned Businesses for 2011 & 2012. In 2012 they announced her as one of the fifty most influential women in West Michigan.
