VA Student Process

Sign up for benefits with the Veterans Administration

Veterans who wish to attend Davenport University and use Veterans Benefits must follow the steps below: 

Go to GI Bill® is a registered trademark of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). More information about education benefits offered by VA is available at the official U.S. government Web site at

  • Click on Education Benefits

  • Click on How to Apply Benefits

  • Complete application and make sure that the application is signed

Students may submit one of the following to begin the certifying process:

  • The Post-9/11 GI Bill Statement of Benefits from

  • Certificate of Eligibility – COE

  • eBenefits

  • Chapter 31–1905

All VA students will be required to submit either a Certificate of Eligibility-COE or the Benefits Statement from

NOTE: eBenefits cannot be the only form used as proof of VA eligibility.

Students who transfer from another institution must submit a Request for Change of Program or Place of Training (VA Form 22-1995).
